Constructed in 2003, this magnificent 3,300 square-foot, custom hand-crafted Douglas Fir log home offers an attached heated 600 square-foot two car garage and sits on a Flat and heavily wooded half acre lot. The Bear Cabin is a 4 Bedroom plus Loft Log Cabin Rental in Breckenridge CO with three and one-half baths and four decks with great forest views and great Peak 6 and Peak 7 views of the Breckenridge Ski Resort. The Bear Cabin is an authentic log cabin and is furnished with many modern amenities that will make your vacation in Breckenridge, Colorado unforgettable.

This magnificent custom crafted Douglas Fir log home has been accented with interior animal carvings and Colorado style furnishings that encourage rest and relaxation in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.

The spacious gourmet kitchen offers solid granite counters, hickory cabinets and stainless steel appliances and bar seating. This home boasts an incredible open floor plan which is great for entertaining and hanging out with friends and family. The great room is divided into two sitting areas, one with a blazing natural wood burning wrought iron wood stove and the other with an HDTV and large dining table.

The main floor master suite has a king bed, HDTV, private balcony overlooking an aspen grove, a gas stove, large shower and a 2 person jetted tub.

The master bedroom also has a large loft area with two twin beds and full sized futon great for extra sleeping for the little ones you want to be close to. The master bedroom can sleep a total of 6 people.

The main floor has another small bedroom with a log bunk bed (full size bed and twin bed) and a mountain themed half bath.

The back deck and yard is a paradise in itself. An 7 person Bullfrog spa hot tub, gas grill, horseshoe pits and summer fire pit round out the main floor amenities.

The upper level offers great views of the Breckenridge Peaks, a full bath, a private bedroom with a log queen size bed and an additional bedroom with a queen size bed open to below. Also, a reading space with a business center setup is available for our guests. There is also a full sized futon in the loft which provides great extra sleeping.

The lower level has a private bedroom with a log queen size bed and HDTV. The lower level also has a Laundry room, bathroom with a shower, a family and play room with a flat screen HDTV, family game table and a foosball table.

  Great place. Things were generally great. TV reception was sketch on Netflix and Disney( which actually made me happy). Hot tub was hot but water smelled a bit. House is wonderful. I kinda expected at least one entrance to be shoveled. I understand you expected us to use

  Our stay here was the perfect setting for a family winter vacation! Clean, comfortable accommodations and well-supplied kitchen with gadgets galore made this stay extra-special. Our favorite activities were games around the large table and relaxing soaks in the hot tub. The location is close enough to Breckinridge to enjoy dining and exploring but far enough away to avoid the noise, hustle and bustle. Our kids enjoyed the large private yard full of snow, as well as the sleds they found to use in the garage. 5 stars!

  We had a great time at Bear Cabin for our girls getaway. The cabin is located about 10 mins from town and sits in the middle of trees, which offered a quiet, semi-secluded hideaway. It was a very convenient location for what we were doing. Inside, it's spacious with a lot of different sitting areas, plenty of beds, and enough bathrooms that we never had a problem. It's also beautiful! It's a great option for large groups or multiple families, with a full bathroom on each of the 3 floors, and multiple entrances. The host was very responsive throughout and we had no problems with any part of the process. Would definitely stay again.

  17 of us stayed in Bear Cabin for a family reunion week, ages 1-71. Accommodations were sufficient for the size of our group. Parking was adequate. The location of the cabin was perfect. Far enough away from the crowds but close enough to enjoy what Breckenridge has to offer. Everyone enjoyed staying in a real log cabin. The backyard of the house was a delight. Between the expansive deck, hot tub, firepit and horseshoes game we did not lack for outdoor activities when at home. We most of all enjoyed the scenery which served as an ideal backdrop for family photos. The kitchen was very well stocked with pretty much whatever you might need with a large group. Management was very responsive to a few things which came up during our stay.
  
  I do have a couple of suggestions. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom. We are the 71 year olds :) The king bed was comfortable but very difficult for me to get into. It is set very high and I would almost have to jump to get into it. I'd suggest that a stool be provided for easier access. The ladder to get into the loft in the master is attached directly to the wall at the top and bottom (no angle) and was somewhat precarious going up and down for the two teenagers that opted to sleep there. After one night, they and their parents agreed they were safer off on the futons. I'd suggest better access to the loft.
  
  In summary, all of us had a wonderful time, enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.

  Bear cabin was as advertised..spacious, good location, and clean. When you pay $ 5k + for 6 days, it might be nice if they spent a few extra $ to provide something better than the cheapest 1 ply toilet paper, same with paper towels, no laundry detergent, inadequate # of towels, etc. I know we were to supply our own food, but again, it is off-putting to spend that kind of $ and have supplies that are seen in $ 39/ night hotels

  The bear cabin was perfect for our needs. It had space for two families plus one with five kids. The hot tub was great, new and big. It was in a great location easy to get into town and to the mountain. The downstairs was filled with lots of activities and games. The main floor was very open and accommodating for as many people.
