Discovery Place

You will understand why this house is named 'Discovery Place' once you experience the breathtaking views from this charming mountain hideaway. Located on Famous Peak 7 a little over
a mile away from the base of Peak 7 at Breckenridge Ski Area.

Here you will experience some of the best skiing Colorado has to offer in every ability category. Discovery Place is one of a kind and is waiting to provide you with life long memories of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Discovery Place has Four Bedrooms plus a loft area and Three Bathrooms. The Master Suite is located on the top level which has a King bed with it's own separate bath. The loft has two twin beds and is a great place for the little ones in your group especially since there is such easy access to this area, no pesky ladder steps.

On The main floor you will find two bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom with a King bed and the other with a Queen bed. This level boasts a fully equipped kitchen with warm kitchen cabinets and granite countertops. There is a large dining room table and living area with a natural wood burning fireplace all decorated in beautiful mountain decor.

On the Entry level you will find one bedroom with a King bed and one bathroom. The entry level also has a natural wood burning fireplace and entertaining area with a Ping-Pong Table. This level has a card table, flat screen TV with surround sound, blue ray and ipod player. We also provide heated boot dryers with capacity for 8 pairs of boots so they are nice and toasty for the next day of skiing.

There is a full size washer and dryer available for your use during your stay. I also contract with a certified massage therapist who will come right to your door to soothe your tired muscles after a hard day playing. Or you can just soothe away the days play in the bubbly hot tub!

  The house was spacious and clean. There were a lot of pots and pans from which to choose which was nice. The deck faced the mountains which was perfect upon waking and enjoying a cup of coffee. the deck could use some stain as it was chipped off in several areas. overall, it was a great house.

  Our family of 10 really enjoyed the house. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and grilling. The view from the deck, main living room, kitchen and dining room is spectacular! The house was clean and is in a great location. The kids, young and old, loved the hot tub. Overall the house worked out great but it could probably use some updates. The beds, bedding and bathrooms particularly. There are also some pretty bad squeaks in the main floor bedroom right above the basement bedroom where we were. We took the basement bedroom because that was the best room arrangement for our kids and families to be upstairs. All that being said, we wouldn't rule out a return trip to Discovery Place. I think it was a good value and none of these minor things dampened our absolutely wonderful time at both the house and in Breckenridge.

  The house was perfect for our family trip. We had 4 couples and everyone had their own space. The kitchen had everything you could need to stay in and cook some meals, but close enough to town to go out. Weather was perfect and love the moose that were hanging out one day.   We had a group of 9 over Christmas and this house was perfect! The management team is awesome and easy to work with. The house has spectacular views and super close to peak 7 & 8 for snowboarding or skiing. My only complaint is the height of the shower heads in the bathrooms, they are on the shorter side but awesome water pressure. This place is GREAT!

  We would highly recommend the Discovery Place rental property. It is in a beautiful, rustic, and peaceful setting, yet not far from entertainment locations. The house was well equipped, clean, and comfortable. There was plenty of room for guests to relax -- on the deck, in the hot tub, on the couches, playing table tennis, or visiting over a meal. Concerns were addressed in a timely manner by a considerate and friendly management staff. We enjoyed our stay and are extremely grateful that this location was available to us.

  Had a great stay at this house and really enjoyed the solitude and peaceful neighborhood. Hot tub was awesome and kitchen fully stocked. Our only complaints hardly seem mentionable- there were no kitchen sponges, no washer detergent and the Teflon pans are a bit worn beyond omelette use. One of the large window shades no longer opens, and the shower doors on the main kitchen level could be repaired or replaced. 2 of the 4 boot dryers work, but what a life saver! The Weber grill was great to grill our steaks 🥩. A stellar place for a ski week, and we’d consider staying here again!
